After graduation he heads to the University of Chicago, teaching in the wild 1960’s and living next to Hyde Park. He then comes for brand new UCI, does chemistry research and starts taking on administrative positions such as department chair and then Dean of Physical Sciences. His next move takes him to Boulder, CO for one of the coolest jobs ever…and about a decade later he ends up at UC Riverside as an executive vice chancellor. Wow!
