His expertise is in the area of financial anthropology. His answer is 'moving target defense' which encrypt the application just enough to create a barrier. Computer security is a top priority these days and UCI is working on a solution in the Franz lab.

She honed her atmospheric science expertise in the Rowland/Blake Chemistry Lab and now applies her acknowledge at NASA Ames on the Atmospheric Alpha Jet Experiment Project.
