Professor David Card is a 2021 Nobel Laureate in Economics. He teaches at UC Berkeley, but received his Nobel Medal at UCI's Beckman Institute due to COVIC protocols. At the end of 2022 he will go to Stockholm for the official ceremony. According to UCI Economics Professor Dan Bogart, "David Card is HUGE! He had a huge impact on economics period". His next move takes him to Boulder, CO for one of the coolest jobs ever…and about a decade later he ends up at UC Riverside as an executive vice chancellor. Wow!
